Traiden is focused in fitting lower limb prosthetic and orthotic devices. This includes all ages ranging from pediatrics to a 99 year-old prosthetic patient, spending most of the day working with lower limb prosthetics.

Working with upper extremity myoelectric prosthetics are interesting to Traiden, because he can coordinate care with the prosthetic user and therapy to achieve the best prosthetic outcome. He also enjoys working with pediatrics for bracing because you can see the improvement with the children as they progress with their braces and therapy.

"I enjoy getting to know the people that I work with. We are involved together in their rehabilitation over and extended period of time. It is a great feeling to watch someone walk again, and to see them progress with a new brace or prosthesis that allows them to return to more independence and a more active lifestyle."

When not at work, Traiden enjoys spending time with his wife and children. They are outside as much as possible. He enjoys fishing, golfing and hiking.
