Following high school, I attended the University of MN-Duluth pursuing a business degree. Over the summers I would work for my father at our family-owned "Krolls Orthotics and Prosthetics" facility in St Paul.  Eventually I ended my schooling and began full time work for my dad in 1989. Under the supervision of certified practitioners, I worked my way into several certifications that eventually lead to my current status as a Certified Orthotist.

I consider my specialties' to be pediatrics and pedorthics (working with all types of foot and ankle diagnoses). Trauma work in a hospital setting would be a close third. I succeed when my patients succeed and that's what keeps me coming back to work each day.

Outside of my work, my wife and I enjoy spending time with our kids and their activities. I also have a passion for music and consider myself a hobbyist guitar player an luthier.
